What's a torch set up worth

I am going to an auction tomorrow and there is going to be an o/a torch sold. I don't know the size of the tanks but even if they are empty what would this setup be worth?

I guess it'll depend on the brand, model, condition, number and type of items included, and size of the tanks. :)

A new Victor SuperRange II with 350 series regulators, a #4 Acetylene tank, and a 150 cubic foot oxygen cylinder with one welding tip and one cutting tip would cost about $700 today.

At an auction you are always buying a "Pig in a Poke", so be careful. If it looks like its been in use, has a cart, striker, etc,. and the hoses don't look rotten, I'd go up to $200, but no more. I just bought a nice Victor (big, medium duty torch and regulators, and three "legal" tanks (verifiable with the LWS that sold them) for $150.00 with a cart. Sold the third tank and the cart at the swap meet and just about ended up with a free outfit!. I was going to sell my Victor Advantage outfit I've been using, but decided to keep it all tucked away for spares.:)
