If you go to the link posted above by Pumpkinhead you will find the service manual for the 600. See page 28 of 89. You do not have a light for the air pressure.

The second light down is "System Ready". If it is yellow you have another problem. Fifth light down is "Yellow torch parts are loose or removed." Figure out the problem with your torch and get a green light and it should clear the second yellow light and give you a green System Ready.

Were I you I would download the service manual and install it on your hard drive. It is a pdf file.

Edit: I may have misspoken. Fourth light down is "Yellow low gas pressure". I assume that is a low air pressure indicator.

FYI:

Light 1 - Green Power is On
Light 2 - Green System Ready. If you have any other fault condition this light will be yellow.
Light 3 - Yellow Low Line Voltage
Light 4 - Yellow Low Gas Pressure
Light 5 - Yellow Torch Parts Are Loose Or Removed
Light 6 - Yellow High Temperature

I had this same problem. The lights said everything was OK, then you pull the trigger and nothing happened. one of the lights would turn yellow (I think it was the second one), the I let off and all lights would show ok. I took it in for warranty work, and come to find out there was something wrong with the torch.

long story short: the machine was 1 year and 1 week old. The torch only had a 1 year warranty and they would not cover it. I was really pi$$ed off when I found out there was just a clog in the line of the torch and it was something that was some part of the machine itself that clogged it. I specifically said if it is the torch then do not fix it since it is out of warranty and ill just buy a new one. The bill was about $200 and I still had an old torch. When I asked them If they remembered me saying not to fix the torch Airgas said "Yes I remember, but we did not do any repairs or fix the torch. Hypertherm only took it apart and removed the block in the line."

I dont know if you can take the torch apart (without voiding the warranty or be able to get it back together) but you may want to look into that.

Go to the Weldingweb forum, Jim Colt is there, he has worked at Hypertherm for over 30 years, he'll help you I am sure. ;)

sounds like the parts were either shot, or incorrectly installed.

I had one problem with my 600 Hyp. Where I would not get the Green Air Light due to the plunger inside of gun was sticking. If you take out the tip and the plastic ring you will see a brass button that should move freely up & down.

I sprayed some WD-45 in mine when I was having problems. I let it dry real good before I put it back together. Also this sounds kind of bad but I rapped it on the work bench a couple times "Gently" that seemed to help break it loose.
