Kids Telescope Tripod

We bought my daughter a little telescope for Christmas a few months ago. It came with a cheesy little tripod that you had to almost lay on the ground to use. So, we had a tripod at work with a broken head that was going to be discarded and I thought to myself, "Perfect!" A few cuts and welds, and it works great! She really likes it!

I've wiped the grease off so it's not oozing out. Kimberly's pretty impressed with the craters on the moon now.

Not lately. Heck, I had to do some housekeeping to do that much. I've been cleaning out the garage to make room for the cab and the chassis of the project truck. As soon as I get enough space cleared, I need to make a jig for the rear suspension. She'll get to weld parts of the jig together, I think.
