This is a project I've been thinking about doing for several months. Its going to be an old, rusty, abandoned car to place in a garden, in the woods, whatever, and let plants grow up, through, and around it. I will offer to cut holes in the roof to hold flower pots, is the buyer wishes..
The roof is a wheelbarrow, the hood from a '47 Chevy, the wheels are "Donut" spares (I have four. I'll use some spotlight "cones" from an old restaurant for headlights, and probably some remaining pieces of the hood to fill out the body some...although there will be lots of 'negative' space for the plants to grow through. It could even be rigged with head and tail lights with motion sensors to flash a welcome to folks coming up the driveway!
I posed a few parts to get my creative juices flowing...:p

Here's a rear shot, showing the wheelbarrow better. It reminds me of a Carson top, eh? Stuck axles on the wheels this morning, and am "posing" the headlights...:p

Hotfoot,
You do realize that you are totally insane, I hope.
Let insanity rule!
I don't think I've ever met a more creative and prodigious artist than you.
Someday I'd like to meet you and shake the hand that brings to life the ideas that flow from that mind of yours.
How did the bike go over at the Burn Center?
(I have people down there that I care about deeply).

Many thanks, Dano! One thing I do...is whatever I feel like doing, no matter how off-beat, instead of trying to figure out what sells...although these all seem to find a home pretty quickly!
The bike to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project finally got picked up last week, and they are exploring which weekend they want to hold their rally...they keep moving it...but its the VFW folks here setting that up, so I leave it in their hands! Sometimes near labor Day, but there are so many big biker rallies in Texas, its hard to hit an open weekend. I advised them to trailer it from rally to rally and sell raffle tickets, but I think they will just auction it off at their event (less trouble for them...lots less $$ to the Burn Center!!).
Just let me know if you're ever going to be in the Austin/San Antonio area (I live right in between).:)

Yeah, I already noticed that when I started laying it out. Mine will definitely be "Greener"...:p

Contact the local Patriot Guard Riders.... Tell them what you're doing with the Wounded Warrior Project - You'll get more support than you can handle.
One of the soldiers from the burn unit came home for a visit and I was honored to be the Ride Captain for the procession from the Nashville airport to his home town. Indescribable.
