So here is what I fabbed up this morning to keep my cylinder from moving left or right during the cut. (Sorry for the fuzzy pic, I moved my cell phone while taking it).
The top is an old Ball Joint tacked to a scrap of Harley Handlebar. It slips in pretty snug, and is a greased pivot point. The Foot is just apiece of angle tacked to the table, then I greased the contact area around the bottom of the bottle.
The rig does not "Spin"...but it does 'Rotate. The cylinder is very heavy (I estimate over 100 pounds), so it bears down on tho9se center Treadmill rollers . One of the bearings was missing in one of the ends, so I just tacked a washer in there that the shaft passes through. Now that the weight is 'workin' on it', I may slice off that end and put areal bearing in there...but we'll see...
Now onto a cutter setup!!:)
