I love new toys! These are my first dent removal attempts with the HF Planishing Hammer. (Using my cell phone camera):)

First a "Gas Tank" (its not really, just some cover thing) from a Harley V Rod, badly dented...

After...(I've removed the paint as part of my Benefit Bike Project). the tape is not covering any dented area, just holding it in position while glue dries...The tank came out smooth, but my grinder swirls make it look lumpy...its not!

Next, a Harley Fatboy Headlight, three bad dents...

...and after (only about 60 seconds to do this!!!)

came out very good. normally any dent of measure will stretch the metal making it all but impossible to bang it out. you did well.

That's a great picture from a cell phone...what phone is it? Good planish job, too, HF.

Its a Samsung Flip Shot (Verizon), 3 mega pixels, flash (weak), and 12 x digital zoom, plus up to 10 minutes video with sound. It does all sorts of effects and fancy stuff I'll probably never use, but it sure is handy! I just slip the 1 MB Micro chip out and slip it in my card reader on my computer. You can also use their USB cable, but the chip also gave me the 1 MB (they have a 2 MB, also), as well as the photo ease. I bought this phone because of the camera and the navigation (I took my Tom Tom back to Costco, no difference in the two that I've yet to find).:)
Don't get to work on the bike today, though, I'm heading to a benefit for my burned metal Artist friend, where I donated a bird to the auction...

hey, 9'er...Its just a Harbor Freight, like they have on sale for $99.00 frequently ...and they've had them for $77.00 occasionally. It dark out now, but I'll set it up tomorrow and take a pic. I have a chrome headlight visor that is "impossibly" crumpled up, and i'm curious how much it can help it. Its fun to play with!:)

hotfoot you never cease to amaze me, you go to a junk yard, and bring back old dented stuff that nobody would give a second look. and not only straighten it out. but turn it into some of the most creative art I could ever imagine. I always look foward to what you have up your sleeve next. I think the new bike turned out great. the picture of the hammer is not needed. I thought it might of been one of your creations.
