I'm guessing these forks are AR-400 . Need to adapt them for My loader bucket.
7018 OK AFTER PRE HEAT? THANKS TOOL

Doubt they are AR .... more likely T-1 or equivalent. Is the weld load-bearing? If not, 7018 is often ok, with preheat. If the welds are taking a load, use 11018, also with preheat. Forget what temp, do a search, I've seen a couple PDF files floating around about welding T-1 steels, or maybe somebody else here knows ....

forks? if you mean forks of a fork lift truck,they are made from boron steel,if welding with stick use E7018 or E7016,if you are welding with mig you can use EN440(ER70) solid wire,pre heat to 150 deg c
