Just got Shielding gas this week and hooked up everything as the manual instructed, but when I go to turn the cylinder to open it immediately begins leaking out of the regulator. I can't determine if it is coming from the bottom where there is a brass opening with what seems to be a spring inside or from the threaded part of the reg. where the hose clamps onto the regulator that feeds it to the welders gun.
I've have tried working the More or Less handle and have been able to get gas through the gun, but I know it shouldn't leak this bad...

-Appreciate the Advice, Mason

Soapy water in a spray bottle is your friend....also did you check the inside of the valve in the tank to make sure there wasn't anything in there?....

Try spraying around all of you connections with a water/dishwashing liquid mixture. Look for continueing bubbles. You may be able to locate your problem this way.

I sprayed some leak detector and found out I had not screwed the regulator tight enough into the tank itself!:o Pretty newb I know, but thanks for the advice!
