Why is it so hard to find the prices on these machines?
Can you give us a hint, Nickoli?

Good question, I received a flyer in the mail on this unit and went online to the website and I too had difficulty in finding a price. They want you to call them before you die of sticker shock I guess.

The Plasmacam is around $9,000.00.
Torchmate is about $800.00 less.
This is without the plasma cutter, computer and dust containment equipment.

I think I remember reading that Samson is a parent or child company of plasmacam but more industrial sized. I think I remember somebody saying the machines are about 20k I think.

G'day I'm asking for some help about using this plasma cutter.
Mitech super160P tig mma 40A plasma cutter.
I have burnt out two tips on the plasma torch with only four cuts, it's melting part of the base of the copper tip. and as the mitech is HF start when using the tig it needs to be kept off the job but in the plasma very thin advice section it says to make contact with the job.. it seems that is what is causing the melting of the copper tip.
Any advice please.. I'm currently looking for more tips and the ones I got with the welder have different sized holes in the three tips. but the sellers seem to have no infor on orifice sizes.
Love tigs.... great ain't they.
Cheers Neil
