I want to use my Miller FTC 14 (Miller# 151086) on my new Lincoln Vantage 400. The Miller pot is 1K ohms and the Lincoln is 10K ohms. I talked to my local Miller repair tech and he said I could get the 10K pot from a local supply house and he could make it work. Anyone else have any educated thoughts about this? Thanks- Ted

I've done it. I've got a Lincoln Hi-freq unit and foot pedal that now thinks it's a Miller. It plugs into my XMT-300.

Thanks for the response, I'm looking for a finger tip control like the ones Miller makes, but for a Lincoln- Ted

Easy to make a Lincoln foot pedal believe it's a Miller, but the miller uses a special potentiometer, so difficult to make it think it's a Lincoln

Profax or Lenco finger tip controls for Lincoln are the only ones simular to Miller, or you'll be stuck with the slide version Lincoln has.
