months ago I read a pretty cool line at the end of a post saying: "choose 2 - fast, well made, inexpensive" but that doesn't sound just right. Can someone tell me the correct wording? I'd like to have it hanging in a frame in my work shop. Thanks

I saw a sign at my LWS that says:

We do three types of work here:

1. Good
2. Fast
3. Cheap

Pick two of the three.

If you want it good and fast, it won't be cheap.
If you want it good and cheap, it won't be fast.
If you want it fast and cheap, it won't be good.

that's the saying I was looking for. And I'm going to work the 'hold my beer...........into a shop conversation too. Thanks, dudevato

In cycling it goes: "strong, light, cheap. choose two"
