Yeah, ""400 amp AC welders."" Rectification appears to be a problem in China.
Most if not all structural welding in China is done in AC. Been there, researched various firms in China.

I was seeking a good DC engine drive but couldn't find one in the 1 month I was there.

Appears I can't spell...

ArcPower is representing the Denoh engine drives designed in Japan and apparently made in both China and japan I've seen them here but only breiefly, something about CSA, and NEMA numbers not being met.

A fellow had one at my shop, very wierd auxillary, and bizzare remote system also all control wording was in Japanese, but it welded extra smooth according to my piplining buddie..

That answer means you are either very stupid (which I don't believe) or just trying to act like you are not simply ringing your own bell here.
Heck man you got your company name on both your avatar and your signature!!! You must think Americans are really stupid to say that.
Just be honest and say what you really mean and cut out the silly games. I for one really enjoy both your posts and pictures but the disguise is growing old man. And keep up those good posts and pics:D
Also...is that a DC machine??? How about some specs?

I was told before I went to Fuzin Province (China) that the machines were "DC", Hmmm no rectifires, Hmmm, no stabilizer. Super outdated generators. Nice turbo charged engines. But that was about it. Yep all AC weldiers.Everything they make in China for China is AC, structural welding is done in AC.

Neat thing is that there is no Patent control in China,so they can put out a chinese welder and call it any brand they wish. I saw a T-dyne plasma there, that looked on the outside just like a T-Dyne, but inside was just a mess of Chinese cr*p and the torch was unknown to me. Victor torches were the same, Badged as Victor, NOT....

Denoh in Japan put out actual ac/dc welders. Really bizare /goofy wiring, Virtually identical to a Multuquip generator though. 3600 rpm Kubota 722 engines.

Hehe , welcome you to Beijing (Peking) for meeting......:)

Merry X'mas!!!!!!!

Engine driven welders is powered by Kubota D905, D1105, V1305, rather than 722....

Sorry guy, just guessed at the engine as I did not pull the top cover off to get the engine model off the valve cover.

When is the CSA cert for these machines going to happen?

Probably because your product as yet probably doesn't have the CSA, or UL stamp of approval. That is the problem here in Canada, yep I've seen one, and only one. I'd assume its a problem with emmissions in Canada.
