I was given some rod. It has not been opened and I dont want to until I know what it is maby someone can help!!!
On the can Chemtron corp. DMN 3439-E24-4850 M221-279 and what I think is a date 1964

If you havent opened it by now, I suggest you google it or take it to your local hazardous goods recycle centre, regards Peter Holmes

It appears that Chemtron is not in the welding rod business anymore....are you sure that there is welding rod in the can?:confused:
