another new TIG welder guy

I want to try my hand at. I have a torch, reg, & DC welder. I need to hook up the gas hose to the reg. The cable I have has the gas hose in it & I need a connector to go from the hose/power cable to the reg. with a connection for the power from my welder.
Is their such a thing if so where do I find it?

I'm not sure exactly what you are looking for, but it sounds like it might be along these lines:

These are the Weldcraft (http://www.weldcraft.com) variety (go to products, then Improved Quick Connect System). CK Worldwide (http://www.ckworldwide.com/safe_loc.htm) also makes a variation.

If this isn't what you are looking for, can you give a more detailed description and/or pictures to see what you have?

I think that's what I need. I have the torch with gas thru cable & reg. I don't know if the sizes are standard on the regs but it's the same as on an oxygen reg.

ok it sonds like you have a air cooled torch.what typ of welder is it.
from what im reading it sonds like your hooking up the torch to the reg and the power to the welder:eek:.
im saying welder b/c idnk what kind it is d/c dos not tell me alot.

All I need is an adapter to go from the 3/8 end on the torch cable to the reg hose with a stud on it to hook up the power from the welder. Looks to be simple but I can't find a source, prob. just not looking in the right places.
I look at work & it looks pretty simple.
