After several years of cutting out projects for others I finally decided to cut out a welcome sign for my place. The arch is 40" wide with 3/4" sq tube for a border rest is 12ga. plate. Used rough cedar post to try to make it rustic.

beautiful work, but you better use padlocks to hang that copper. Scrap value around here is super high.
Did you hand-cut all that detail?

Beautiful job, Alden....even the attach points to the wood...nice detail.

Thanks Rocky, the machine is a torchmate. I bought the kit about 4 years ago and keeps me fairly busy.Using a hypertherm 1000 with fine cut consumables I really like the cut on thinner material with this set-up.

Don't matter some scumbag will take it anyway. If it looks like copper he'll think it's copper.

Beautiful job on the sign. Wish I could afford a plasma cnc rig ... will just have to stumble along with two hands..
the copper powder coat looks really impressive.
Thanks for sharing..

Great work!
The composition of the wildlife is very nice, and as Rocky said the mounting detail is a nice touch.
