Rock, I received a quote on the Synchrowave 180 but the salesman said it will be obsolete in the near future. He said it will be replaced with a newer model with additional features, including meters. How soon will it be out and what will the price increase be?

The new model# is 907054 and the old is 903600. Do you have any info on it yet?

Decisions, decisions.....buy now or wait?.......:(

Maybe I'll just hold out for an Aerowave!!!:D

I have no inside information but expect to see Miller 200 amp square wave inverter real soon just because there is a bright red with black trim 200 amp square wave inverter sold by another company.

Over a year ago saw some nice Synergic MIG welders with Auto Arc Brand (Miller Blue) listed on major internet welding dealer's web site. They were removed after 1 week and never seen again. Maybe it was a April 1 listing.

Russell, I don't know, but I don't think that it's that old. But the dealer said that it would be improved. Pre/post flow, Fan on demand, Hot start for stick welding, Cable hanger and Meters.

He had the product number of the new model. I just was wondering how soon it would be out. I know that many welders have used the 180 without meters and the other bells and whistles, so I would be more than satisfied with the current model. However, I would hate to get the current model and two weeks later find out that the new, improved version is out for a reasonable increase in price.

Hey Rock....Eliminate me? Didn't you take a look at my avatar. That should be enough to scare you. And if you don't tell me, I'll email you a full sized picture - that'll scare you so much, you'll probably send me a new 180 for free.......lol....:D
