Well....I'm only 22 and I swear the fact of posting in here has totally slipped my mind. Ok...so a little about me....I like to tinker with things, get bored easy, will build and or tear apart anything I can get my hands on. Welding wise...I'm a complete noobie in most senses....used to play a little with a friend's stick welder but now actually thanks to an auction was able to upgrade for a very reasonable price (actually paid more for helmet, gloves, shielding gas, etc.. then I did for the 2 welders I now own). Enjoy learning (sometimes the hard way) will be more then willing to part what little knowledge I know and what I learn to anyone willing to listen....and I look forward to learning as much from the ones who know. Oh yeah....I live in Michigan and race sled dogs.

Howdy!
So what's your background, besides the sled dogs? Or do they pay the bills?
(I guess it's possible?) Schooling? Family? Dog's names? Jobs?
And again, Howdy! Welcome!

Well....grew up and still live in a small farm community. Dogs do not pay the bills but they drain the bank account pretty good. As for school....I've gone for Forestry in New York, Architecture in Detroit and currently in GR just getting some other stuff out of the way for a degree in International Business/Relations. Family wise...I have two older sisters, my mom works in the schools and my dad works at a small local pharmacy (the type where you can call my house at 2am on a Sunday and he'll drive in to open it up and fill the script you forgot about). Dogs names....well I have 18 dogs...but if you really want all their names I can give em. Jobs....I've worked from 4,000 feet up the side of a mountain in Alaska, to a farm market, to a financial aid office, to a pallet factory, to an architecture firm, and currently I work at a credit union. Did I mention that I enjoy getting the most experience out of life? Oh...yeah...I also ran for the Michigan House of Representatives for the 70th District in the 2006 General Election

Hahaha.....I just like grabbing life by the horns (even though I am a GMC guy). But I actually think the country background helps drive me and helps me succeed in all I try. I've worked the white-collar and I've been in the trenches with the blue collar (cut my veins and they'll bleed red, white, and blue with streaks of John Deere green). Thanks for the welcome....look forward to getting to know you and others better. Where in the Northeast are you? Have a friend of my sister who is from Oregon

I'm in the Seattle area. I work across the lake on the Kirkland side, and live down south by 50 miles or more. I'm constantly traveling all over the northwest for my job and I'm in Oregon quite alot.
Oregon is a great place to be 'from'. :D :D
