Does anyone have any experience with this welder? I am looking at a new one being sold by an individual, but I do not know what a good price would be. What does this model retail for? I assume it is the older model because the new ArcMaster 200 is AC/DC and this is only DC. I know very little about tig welders and would like the board's input. So, is it any good and if so, what is it worth?

I believe that is somewhat of a odd ball unit? I saw one on ebay a while back. It was a current type case unlike the LM-300 I had. It's a tig/ stick/ mig machine made by Sanrex. I would be very interested if it welded like the LM-300. Very crisp arc and a inductance control too. It probably goes for as much or more then my current Arcmaster 185 does?? Just a guess by going from some of Thermal dc machines. My 160 TS DC also cost about as much as the ac/dc unit. Spendy!!!

I could have had a new one for around $1000 shipped but I didn't know what it was worth. I couldn't find any information on it, must be an oddball as you stated.

EDIT: Here is the exact welder I am talking about. I thought it sold for $800 shipped but it has been relisted. I think it is JUST the unit though. Other members feel free to bid, I am a poor college student and shouldn't be spending money I don't have, so you won't be taking my auction.

They still produce the LM 200 unit newest generation. Believe it or not most of those units are used in Iraq as we speak. That is the preferred multi-process unit over there. Thermal sells quite a few. And yes they weld excellent just like the older LM300. They are multi voltage units single/three phase.
