I have a Lincwelder 225 portable welder in the back shop in pieces that will be gone by time the snow flys. It is about 1974 vintage and has the Onan CCK engine. The engine's short block is junk and beyond salvage, but the rest looks to be in reasonable shape. Anybody need any parts from this? What parts I don't sell will be thrown in the scrap hopper when I do a pre-winter hoe out.
I've already scarfed the leads and lugs off it but the rest is pretty much there. Make a reasonable offer on the part(s) you want plus postage. Visa and MasterCard accepted.

Are there diodes that I could use to convert my ac buzzbox to ac/dc?
If so, how much? I live in Cleveland Oh. 44135

As a matter of fact I still have this whole welder and I'm ready to put it out on the junk pile. I have the carb and manifold assembly. the carb is in decent shape but needs disassembled and cleaned and a kit put in it if one is available. The butterflys are free in it, there is no apparent physial damage.
The manifold is also in good condition with no cracks and the exhaust threads are good. I'll sell this assembly for $50.00 delivered. sound fair? If so PM me or call me at 1.800.736.6432 Thanks.

From what I can see, There are 34 different code/variation/model numbers of the Lincwelder 225. 26 of them have the Onan engine. Not all the electrical parts are the same you need to know what model/code the welder is. I maybe should have been more specific in my question.

I looked at this last night for some parts that another fellow asked about. I forgot that this has a nice 2 wheel cart under it the would work just right under a Dayton 1700 watt generator I just aquired. So when I cut the rest of this welder off the cart, I'm not handling it twice, it's going into the scrap hopper. You want parts speak up now!

Fellow called looking for a coil for the CCK engine and some other parts off this. I don't have his name and his e-mail address doesn't work when I try to reply. These are pics of the coil and the 'parts behind the control panel'. All these are still here, but I'm not sure for how long.

Hi Steve,
I have the same machine and could use some of the parts, I live in Hiawassee, Ga. I could use the coil pack and carburator. Could you let me know what is left? exitkeith@alltel.net

I'm sorry man, I've been offering this since early October of last year. I sold some of the parts on ebay last month but got real tired of the emails offering to take parts off my hands if I wanted to pay the shipping etc.
The last of this went to the scrapyard 2 weeks ago as I needed the room.
Here's a link to a discussion I started on another board concerning older machines.

Give it some thought.
