I have an enclosed trailor for my motorcycle. The floor under the rear wheel has sunk in. I want to put another crossbar under the plywood floor. How do I keep from setting the floor on fire. Please help.

Graham,,, what machine do you have? Some dont run the wood rods very well.

The amount of weld needed to hold an angle in is usually minor, a simple pass on the underside would do and if it smolders put it out. Could make a bolt in pc too.

The new extruded plyrod is supposed to be better.....by Evergrain I think.:)

Graham,

You shouldn't have much problem. The plywood my scorch, but it shouldn't get hot enough to burn. Spray it all down good with the garden hose when you're done, and check on it 30 minutes later.

Should do OK.

I use a ot of 3/4" plywood (CDX) for jigs, and there is seldom any flame.

The factory is in Georgia so I think you can only get Marsh or Swamp. I hear the Swamp has better gas coverage:cool:
