Hi, I just bought THIS (http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=55167) little machine, it welds like a dream. I just got done fabbing up a lift for semi trucks made from 1" T1 plate. Little guy was almost TOO hot.

Future plans include a pedestrian bridge that goes over a 300' gorge. Maybe some armored car repair.

Those Chicago Electric units from Harbor Freight have been getting ALL the rave reviews, haven't they?http://smilies.sofrayt.com/aiw/laugh.gifhttp://smilies.sofrayt.com/1/c0/rofl.gif

With all you can do with that 90 amp flux-core unit, it sure makes me wonder why I wasted all that money on my MM 210!http://smilies.sofrayt.com/fdm/sunglasses2.gif

I got a $40.- "100 amp" Homier stick welder. Gotta love that erratic arc. Who needs the HF 90 amp wire feed when you can make pigeon welds or cuts.

If I could only have one welder it would be a Dynasty 200...any voltage and is AC/DC tig and is a great stick welder too. Only 45 lbs
The china multi function machines can do more but they don't have the multi-voltage function. This machine just blows me away at how good it welds aluminum on 110volts:D:D:D

Forget all these wimpy welding methods. My next welder is gonna be one of these explosion welding deals. I hope my neighbors don't mind. You can even do dissimilar metals with it.

You will never find a better entertainment value than that welder! They didn't call it a "stick" welder for nothing, LOL.
