I know I don't get out much, but this was new to me. I saw this truck after lunch today making a delivery to the Bible printery...
I've traveled Latin America quite a bit in my life, and I'm used to seeing vehicles here that aren't available in the States, but usually they are smaller. For example, I saw crew cab minitrucks here long before Dodge finally did it to the Dakota.
Anyway, I'll let the picture talk. What do you think?

I’ve been to Mexico City before, how come that trucks not all bashed up, and all the glass is still in it? :D

We're a bit outside of Mexico City. Close enough to see the smog on the horizon 24-hours a day, but far enough to be in a much quieter town called Texcoco. Plus, it's a Consolidated Freight subsidiary, so probably parks in a pretty secure location.
Anyway, notice the door?

I have heard of them before, but know nothing of them. As far as I know, they have no lineage with the new 4500 and 5500

Interesting my Mexican is no too beuno but I looked at the Dodge Mexico web site and looks like the 4000 is the close to the 3500 C&C model available here north of the big river
Also the 2500 down there looks to be pretty much the same as the 1500 here, 4.7 or 5.7 gas engines, no Cummins, independent front end on 4x4 models
Apparently the 4000 is the only truck available with Cummins down there
Looks like 1500 are the v6 and the 2500 is a v8 ½ ton down there
They also have a H100 a weird little cab over truck
