Hello,

A few weeks ago I won a CUT50 plasma on EBAY. I titled It EBAY Problem? Well...I was wrong about the title. Even though it took a lot of time, I finally got a working machine. The second machine had a damaged box also. I did not open it until I notified the seller. He told me to go ahead and check it out and he would send me 20 consumables for my trouble. Well to my surprise it was a CUT50D rather than a CUT50. Was this a mistake or did he do this for my trouble. I was afraid to ask.

I decided to pop the cover off and look it over real good since they do not put any warranty stickers on the cover. Looked good. Got power to it and gave it about 70psi of clean air. Would not strike an arc, just sparked. Got the book out and it said that the spec was 4.5 kg. Unless I am wrong that is only about 10psi. When I dial that to the regulator it worked like a champ. I have not played with it much yet. Why so little air?

So yes, I am happy! We all love happy endings. I could use some help with instruction though. The Power Seller followed through!
