Have any of you built a rear bumper for your Cherokee?
If you have, you realized like I did that the factory bumpers are only held on by these wimpy bumperettes that bolt to the rear body panel under the lift-gate and do not tie into the uni-frame.
I have been working on a bracket made of 1 1/4 inch c-channel to tie my bumper into the factory bolt holes for the towing hitch I removed.
If any of you have info on what you have done, I would like to know about it.

Where did you get the spindle? Looking to add a tire carrier to my TrailReady bumper since they redesigned it without the tire carrier or trailer hitch.
Thanks

If you look at the website again, I think I listed all of the suppliers for the spindle and latch.
Just click on the names and it takes you to their sites.

You can see pics of my front and rear bumpers at http://www.graphicdesigner.com/2000_Jeep_Cherokee/ I'll see if I can't find the pictures from when I made them and try to find the mounting bracket pictures cause it's hard to explain.
