Fellas,
Deciding to go ahead and sell my almost new MM210 and move up to something bigger.
I've actually found a heck of a deal on a bigger setup, so I'm looking to move the 210 quickly if possible.
I've had the 210 for a few months, and it's only got about 10 minutes run time on it. The only practicing I've been able to do is at a buddies house, and we use his welders to do that, so the 210's just been sitting in my shop since I got into welding.
Not a scratch on it. It includes everything that comes with a new MM210, except for the beginners video, which I somehow misplaced. I'll even include the almost full, $40 spool of wire on it too. I believe it's ER70S-6 wire (is that right?)
Asking $1100. Prefer local pickup.
Thought all the forum guys might like first dibs on this puppy, otherwise it will go to ebay soon...
Thanks fellas.
BTW,
I've had limited time online lately, so if anyone wants immediate info, feel free to call me at 678-859-1420 anytime between 9am and 11pm EST.
Leave voice msg if I miss the call, and I'll get right back with you.
Thanks guys.
I'll pass this along to some buddies in the area.

Ok fellas,
One local buyer is screwing around with me, and I'm not sure if he's actually going to buy the 210 as expected, so let's put her back up here one more time before Christmas.....

I am sure either alcohol or a mild stroke is to blame....not that that post was much different from any other post he's ever made. I can never make heads or tails out of what he posts.....

Glad you're so sure of everything in life...
Jack may be an overly exuberant typist. His typing abilities with old hands are often not able to keep up with his still young at heart mind, but for my reading dollar I'll stick with Jack's posts any day. As Jack would be more than glad to tell you...29 years running a welding business... What do you think your hands would be like in 29 years of that type of work?

I'm with mking, I'm thinking alcohol is no stranger to those ramblings. His posts aren't mistyped, they're absolute gibberish.

Another person so sure of himself...wonders never cease. Jack is a lot of things, good friend of many on this board, ex-businessman, ex-welding company operator, etc. What Jack isn't is a man that would slam another because of a handicap. He might get radical after listening to a 13-14 yr. old kid slam him and his business, but that is to be expected. Jack would be the first among you to offer the shirt off his back if you needed it and the first among you to stand by a friend. I admire that in a man. Now, just what is it about you I'm supposed to admire?

Jack, hope my prior post didn't offend you. I meant the beer I was consuming! :D
We appreciate your depth of experience ... Anyone who doesn't must already be an expert. Remember what Laurence J. Peter said? "An Expert is a man who makes three correct guesses consecutively."

Closely akin to an ignoramus is one who just found out today what you found out last night?

If you ever watch the TV show King of The Hill, there's a character called Broomhauer (sp?) who talks EXACTLY the way our friend Jack types.
I was once irritated by Jack's typing (I actually teach keyboarding classes when I have to support my welding habit) but I grew up and got over it. I now read them and savour their unique expression of ideas. Jack has LOTS of experience, and it tends to gush faster than he can type, so it's worth spending some extra time and effort to discern the intended meaning.
OTOH, it's really easy to misinterpret what Jack is saying. This can result in hurt feelings, near flame wars, hair loss, and a variety of facial tics. If you don't understand one of Jack's posts, ask him to clarify. He will do his best to clear things up. If that's too much trouble, ignore his posts. You'll miss out on some good information - not to mention some excellent mental exercise deciphering the occasionally nearly incomprehensible.
You can pick on Jack's typing, but I have absolutely NO DOUBT that Jack would do anything in his power to help any of us that needed his help.

Jack sometimes obscures his meaning in a cascade of seemingly random thoughts, but it's in there! With his experience, it's often worth digging the nugget of knowledge out of the trainwreck of the post. Jack may be hard to understand, but he doesn't have a post/welds struck ratio of 1000/1 - and NOBODY can claim he posts under several different names!

The scary part is I now understand his posts without hesitation
 :D
I remember reading his posts for the first time and had the same thoughts as Barry- I too had to take a look at the bottle of beer I was enjoying to make sure I hadn't grabbed the rubbing alcohol by mistake :D
