I found these in my barn hiding in the overhead rafters. Are they crank starters for old tractors? or Are they speed wrenchs? or what ever? :D

hard to tell from the picture but they look like awning cranks for sun shades they were fashionable before air conditioning. they look a little light for the vehicle cranks that I renember Also the ones I used did not have the rear handle as it would get interesting if the crank did not release from the crankshaft Terry

The top and bottom ones look like the speed wrenches that came with my father's cultivators for a Farmall C. They were used to attach/remove the cultivators. You could not get a wrench on them good, so that had the long handle. Then you cranked it down with an end wrench. I don't recognize the middle 2. Old tractor engine cranks are a lot shorter and have a slot that throws the wrench out of engagement when the engine starts. Yours would crank your elbow at 2200 RPM when the engine catches.

The straighter ones look to be the crank off old bottle or sissor jacks

I should have put a yard stick or a meter stick in the picture, these are solid and smallest one is under a yard long, the other are at least a yard long. I am forwarding the imahe to Jay Leno and a couple of other places.

That's it exactly. I've got a few myself.
