A shop I hang around was cleaning out old stuff, I was able to get a Powcon Power Drive
I/E wire feeder part 105125-001 looks like it will plug right in to my Powcon 300 SM. Does any one have this set up ? Also got a Powcon Pulser Part 604110-002 it has the same type plugs as the 300 SM but I dont know what it is used for. They guy at the shop said it was there when he moved in and didnt know what it was for. Thanks for any help.

The 300SM has a 14-pin amphenol connector, puts out 115VAC and requires a contactor relay for the feeder. Some of the PowCon stuff was intended for the 400SM. Later models (fan-on-demand units) of the 400SM put out 24VAC and included a contactor relay on the machine which makes them compatible with modern wire feeders. They also have the same 14-pin amphenol connector. The wire feeder and the pulser that you have may be intended for either unit. You should be able to look at the wire feeder and find a label to see if it runs off of 115VAC or 24VAC.

If you're interested in selling the pulser, let me know.

Looked at the feeder it has 24/115 volt listed. I took the access cover off and could see the power transformer. I'll list the pinout when I get the circuit board out to where Can see it. I have a Tweco Mig Gun #4 that I hope will work with this feeder. Thanks for the replys.
