The 3/32 thoriated should be fine (I use 3/32 1.5% Lanthanated with ths Dynasty), just wanted to make sure that you weren't using pure. Not good for inverters. You should be sharpening the tungsten to a point (30*) with a small flat on the end.

I'd probably start with the hz at 110hz, but I haven't used the TA185.

The balance would be better at 70-75%. With the 50/50 you are putting a lot of heat into the tungsten.

The argon flow I'd set at 15CFH unless you feel that you are in a bit of a breeze. Tig eats up enough argon as it is and too much flow can cause turbulence that will bring in the atmosphere that you are trying to keep out.

Test this out and let us know what happens!
