I know they're cheap but I wouldn't mind having a couple extras around to keep from changing them out so often. I see HF has the DrillMaster angle grinder for $10 which makes it easily disposable but if it doesn't work worth a **** its not worth having at all. They're rated at 4.8amps I believe, cant remember the rpms. Anyone use one??

I have 2 of them. They suck but get the job done. They vibrate a bit more, and spin a bit less, but, like I said it gets the job done. I'm going to pick up another with the beltsanding attachment and see how it does..

You cannot kill them. I've tried. I've let the magic smoke out 2 or 3 times on the one I have.

LEt it cool, and it spins again...Albiet slower, and noisier.

KP,
I've had one for about 6 months. I run cut-off wheels in it. It's got a cracked brush housing from a 15 foot drop and I've jammed a wheel and had smoke pouring out of it. When on a jobsite, I usually store it in that real fine powdery dirt you can only find in a drylake bed. It just won't die. For the price, it's hard to beat. It is down on power compared to more expensive ones but gets the job done.

thanks for the input guys. Sounds like they may be worth having around for $10 each. I'm just an occasional weekend warrior so they should suffice for me to use to keep my time spent changing them out down.

I have a few. Keep flap disc on one, grinder on another, cut-off on another.

I got a Clark angle grinder and I have used the ****ens out of it and it works great. It came with 10 discs.I have dropped it a number of times and it just keeps on grinding. Got it at tractor supply and paid 24.99. Bullet Proof.

I bought 3 on e-bay. 1 smoked and caught fire in my hand trying to use a cutting disk. The other 2 work like dogs. Grind with 1, flap sand on on the other, and cut with a Craftsman 4" that was a return. :)

Makes it easier then changing out wheels, just pick up the one you need and go at it. :D

Go for it.
